Simulation of a Digital Factory Using Tecnomatics Plant Simulation to Evaluate Production Processes and Improve Logistics Safety

In today's competitive manufacturing industry, optimizing production processes and ensuring logistics safety are crucial for achieving operational excellence. This article presents a study focused on utilizing Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software to simulate a digital factory environment. The objective is to evaluate production processes and identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency and logistics safety. Through the utilization of Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, this study aims to evaluate production processes by analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, cycle time, and resource utilization. By simulating different scenarios and varying parameters, it becomes possible to identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and optimize resource allocation, thereby improving overall productivity and efficiency. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the importance of logistics safety within the factory environment. Tecnomatix Plant Simulation enables the assessment of safety measures, including the analysis of material handling systems, ergonomic considerations, and the identification of potential hazards or risks.
