The model of the regional environmental monitoring system organization

The paper discusses the basic requirements for an environmental monitoring system. In Ukraine there is regional monitoring systems for individual environmental parameters, however it is needed to develop a project for creating an integrated, geographically distributed system of environmental monitoring of the environment. The basic requirements for equipment of an integrated monitoring system were considered. An analysis of existing foreign monitoring systems was carried out. The block diagram of a multisensory environmental monitoring system was utilized. A generalized model of organizing a regional environmental monitoring system has been suggested. To solve it, multicriteria discrete optimization methods including mathematical modelling, systems theory, utility theory, decision theory, optimization, and operations research, were applied.
