Kyokko: a Virtual channel capable Aurora 64B/66B compatible Serial Communication Controller

Kyokko is an open, vendor-independent implementation of AMD’s Aurora 64B/66B protocol. It works on both AMD and Intel FPGAs and provides interoperability between these FPGAs as well as compatibility with Aurora. It achieves 10 + Gbps communication with channel bonding within a smaller communication latency than AMD’s Aurora IP core. Currently, it supports Ultrascale, Ultrascale +, Cyclone 10 GX, Arria 10 GX, and Stratix 10 GX (L-tile) FPGAs. We’ll demonstrate communication using these FPGAs.
