Hybrid heating system sizing and operation control with Neural Network based simulation

Fossil fuel price volatility and green deal requires to consider the fact that heating will be generated in hybrid system consisted from various type of sources like gas or bio wood boiler, heat pump, solar collectors, etc. All this device will be connected with network through energy storage units. Each heat generator had its own performance parameters, together with operational input such as price for fuel and electrical energy, weather condition and forecast necessary take in account for system operation control. This paper present neural network for operation of hybrid heating system with target to decrease heat cost. In addition, consideration of historical data of heating demand will allow to simulate best possible power share of different generators and optimize storage so that Net Present value is maximized.
