Cloud Computing Smart Metering for the Power Consumption of Houses

Since electricity powers the majority of countries, conserving energy is essential to protect the environment. Thus, energy systems need to become smarter in order to save energy. However, a smart energy monitoring method is to establish the smart energy monitoring systems. Electricity energy meters, which are used to measure the amount of electricity used in homes and companies, are well known. Many people are concerned high electricity bills at the end of each month, leading them to track and check their energy meter. Therefore, an IoT-based complete project for an energy meter was created. In this project, a power meter circuit was created using an ESP32 Wi-Fi module to create a Smart Electricity Energy meter that not only sends an email with details about the power bill, but also allows the user to view the power usage at any time and from anywhere in the world. Here, the system serves as both a voltage sensor and a current sensor to measure the amount of power consumed at a given time.
