Research and Implementation of Reactive Power Optimization Algorithm Based on Topology Layering

How to further enhance the regulation ability of power grid and improve the efficiency of reactive power optimization has become a concern of power system researchers. Reactive power optimization control is the basic task of power network dispatching. However, when a single intelligent algorithm is used for optimization calculation, it is easy for the algorithm to be premature and fall into the trap of local optimum in the whole solution space, and there are some defects such as long calculation time and slow optimization speed in the later stage. Traditional reactive power optimization algorithm relies on accurate mathematical model, which has some defects, such as high requirements for optimization function, easy to fall into local optimum, and inability to deal with discrete variables accurately. In order to solve this problem, researchers introduce intelligent optimization algorithm into reactive power optimization. On this basis, the reactive power optimization effects of IEEE-14 and 30 power systems were compared and analyzed using this method. The results show that this method can reduce the active power loss of the system by 3.36% and 2.40%.
