Abstract:

A revolutionary area in precision medicine, the search for synergistic medication combinations has the potential to completely rethink therapy approaches for a variety of disorders. To improve treatment results and understand the underlying biological mechanisms causing these interactions, it is essential to anticipate the complex interactions that take place between medications in certain cellular environments.In this thorough analysis of some cutting-edge approaches to predicting drug synergy, we set out to compare and contrast them. In order to identify the approaches that have the best chance of enhancing patient outcomes, this comparative article explores the complex interactions between drug combinations and cancer subtypes. We examine how certain drug combinations function across various cancer subtypes, taking into account elements like molecular profiles, mutational landscapes, and treatment responses, The ultimate goal of this study is to advance the area of precision oncology by offering useful insights for the creation of more focused and efficient therapy procedures. This is accomplished by a thorough evaluation of the benefits and drawbacks of various approaches used to calculate synergy score.
