Coupling Field Analysis of a Piezoelectric Simply Supported Plate Based on Double Fourier Series and Truncation With Fixed Products

In this work, the coupling field analysis of piezoelectric simply supported plates is studied by the method of truncating high-order terms with fixed products (TFP). When comparing the truncation of high-order terms with fixed values (TFV), TFP can more accurately find the parts with smaller errors in the double Fourier series expansion, reduce the number of calculated terms, simplify the calculation process, and solve the actual problem. Experimental results show that the computational efficiency of TFP is higher than that of TFV when double Fourier series expansion is adopted. The convergence and precision of TFP are better than those of TFV. When the piezoelectric plate is thick, the shear stress changes along the thickness direction, which cannot be ignored.
