Research on Fault Diagnosis Technology of Gearbox of Mine Hoist

The working environment of mine hoist is complex, and it is easy to break down. In this paper, the constrained independent component and fast Fourier transform (FFT) energy spectrum analysis are combined. First of all, the mathematical basis of FFT and constrained independent component and the basic principle in fault diagnosis are introduced. Then through industrial experiments, it is verified that constrained independent components can extract fault diagnosis features accurately. Finally, the two methods are combined to make a simple diagnosis of the device. By analyzing the vibration intensity, it is concluded that the vibration intensity at the measuring point 11 is large. The vibration signals of measuring point 2, measuring point 6 and measuring point 10 in the vertical, horizontal and axial directions are analyzed and diagnosed accurately. Through analysis, it is concluded that the gear Z1 or gear Z3 on the high-speed shaft of the gearbox may be worn or pitted. In addition, the transmission shaft of gear Z3 may be misaligned due to wear of the coupling or bearing block. The results show that the combination of these two methods can successfully extract the fault features and accurately identify the fault location.
