The Forced Vibration and Transmission Stability of Printing Moving Web

The forced vibration characteristics of printing moving web are investigated using the Differential Quadrature Hierarchical Finite Element Method (DQHFEM). Firstly, the mechanical model of printing moving web under the action of external excitation force is established. The variational formula of the web is derived in terms of the Hamilton theory, and the Gauss-Lobato is employed to discretize the vibration variational formula. Secondly, the transverse deflection basis functions are constructed by applying the higher-order quadrature hierarchical unit, and the natural frequency of the web is solved. Finally, through numerical analysis, the law of the influence of velocity on the dimensionless natural frequency of the web is obtained, and the interval in which the moving web is in steady-state operation is determined. The results show that the method has excellent numerical stability and convergence for studying the forced vibration characteristics of printing moving web and preventing the occurrence of resonance phenomena.
