Leveraging Advanced Data Preprocessing in the Extraction of Network Configuration Template Blocks

With the significant increase in the number of mobile devices, cellular carrier network operators face challenges in their management. For quick setup of network equipment, the network operator must be well-versed in configuring the network devices. In previous research, a configuration recommendation scheme based on semantic extraction (e.g., template blocks extraction) from the configuration data was presented for helping an network operator. In this paper, we propose an efficient configuration data preprocessing scheme compatible with the previous research. With this proposal, it is possible that the recommendation scheme can extract larger and semantically richer template blocks from configuration data.
