Distributed and steady-state modeling of an air condenser

The flow inside a condenser, delineated by fin tubes, is classified into three distinct stages: initially, it begins with a single-phase flow of the fluid, that is a hot gas at the outlet of the compressor. This transitions into a two-phase flow of the fluid that consists of a gas and a liquid, and finally, the process concludes with a single-phase flow of the fluid that is liquid. In this research, we assume that the fluid is in the three cases compressible. Condenser modeling is a description of the mass transfer phenomenon of liquid and vapor that occurs within the flow region, where the boundary position is determined between the flow regions, and the slip effect can be considered a fixed phenomenon, and the system is inhomogeneous. In this modeling, the equations for conserving mass, momentum, and energy are derived in one direction. Computational results were obtained using a FORTRAN program. The purpose of this research is to investigate and improve the behavior of the condenser.
