A Review of Breast Cancer Diagnostic using Machine Learning Classification Techniques

Breast cancer in women is the type of cancer most often diagnosed. The use of ML in this era is very important to help physicians get a second opinion and avoid unnecessary treatment, as well as to improve the diagnostic process. The aim of this article is to give an update on breast cancer diagnosis through machine learning and data-mining approaches, based on 29 retained articles, specifying the classification algorithm, whether or not it used feature selection and parameter tuning methodologies and the results obtained.
