Research on Adaption Analysis Between LPWAN and Smart Grid

The new power system requires the enhancement of the wide-area perception of renewable energy generation, environmental conditions, and real-time dynamic information of power demand. By utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology, various power sources can be integrated into a peak-shaving power system, and various loads can be organized into an adjustable load system, enabling active resource scheduling and comprehensive perception of the internal and external environment of the power grid. We first analyze the requirements of future power systems, and conducts an adaptive analysis for the low-power wide-area network and grid business requirements. Then we proposes corresponding indoor and outdoor networking solutions. In the proposed solution, a local communication system is implemented using power wireless communication based on Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) technology, with a transmission distance of up to 200m.
