Adaptability Analysis of Wireless Communication Application Scenarios Under New Power Systems

In the context of the new power system, wireless communication, as a necessary means to monitor the power infrastructure and carry a variety of power services, realizes the communication coverage of the “last kilometer”, which is an important guarantee to support the digital transformation of the power grid. This paper, for the commonly used electric power wireless communication technology and application characteristics, analyzes the demand for communication networks of each business of electric power systems and the adaptability requirements of terminal access. Taking into account the selection of wireless technologies, calculation of indicator weights, and quantification of indicators, it establishes a business evaluation model for the adaptability of wireless communication networks and analyzes and verifies the adaptability. This paper provides a reference basis for the planning, design, and construction of wireless communication and grid business application scenarios adaptability.
