Analysis of Operation Modes and Economic Benefits of User-Side Energy Storage

Energy storage system can smooth the load curve of power grid and promote new energy consumption, in recent years, the application field of energy storage has gradually shifted to the user side from the power supply side and power grid side, and the business model of user-side energy storage has become a hot spot of research. Therefore, it is an urgent need to study the economic operation and benefits of user-side energy storage system under the environment of electric power market to promote the application of energy storage on a large scale and realize its commercial value. In order to analyze the operation strategy and economic benefits of user-side energy storage, firstly, the economic operation scenario of user-side energy storage system under the power market environment is studied; then, the cost and revenue model of user-side energy storage device is established; on this basis, multiple charging and discharging strategies of user-side energy storage system under the power market environment are considered to construct the economic revenue model. The operation revenue model proposed in this paper can provide a reference for the investment and construction of user-side energy storage system.
