Blind Separation of Co-Frequency Mixed Signals Based on MIMO Signal Detection Algorithm

In this paper, we propose a low-complexity blind separation method for co-frequency mixed signals which is based on Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) signal detection algorithm. Based on accurate channel parameter estimation results, we adopt the MIMO signal detection algorithm to separate the mixed signals by constructing a suitable channel matrix. Compared with the traditional blind separation algorithm, this paper focuses on the separation efficiency of the algorithm. The separation Bit Error Rate (BER) of the method in this paper has a certain gap compared with the Per-Survivor Processing (PSP) algorithm, but the complexity of the algorithm is significantly reduced. Simulation results verify the feasibility of the algorithm in this paper.
