Research on Overall Impeller Numerical Control Machining Technology Based on SA-PSO Hybrid Algorithm

This paper is based on NURBS curve surface modeling and aims to reduce surface undercuts and overcuts errors. It deeply studies tool path planning for non-developable ruled surfaces. A strategy based on the SA-PSO (Simulated Annealing Particle Swarm Optimization) is proposed to approximate the tool enveloping surface to the non-developable ruled surface. This process is transformed into a particle optimization process using MATLAB, which reduces the complexity of the computation compared to traditional algorithms, improves the computational efficiency, and reduces machining errors. Through simulation and experimental machining, the SA-PSO hybrid algorithm is compared with the PSO algorithm, resulting in a 14.7% reduction in machining errors compared to the single Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm.
