Mathematical Representation of Electrical Load Components in Terms of Industrial, Domestic, and Commercial Consumptions

The role of industrial, domestic, and commercial loads in electric systems cannot be overemphasized. Due to the key role of electrical loads in power system, it is very important to ensure they are efficiently and accurately formulated to express their behavior in a more precise manner. In order to do this, the use of constant power, current, and impedance components to define industrial, domestic, and commercial consumer is very practical. Representing the loads in terms of power demand components results in a more flexible and simple formulation, especially when load components are not available. Therefore, the mathematical formulation of these components in terms of industrial, commercial, and domestic loads is essential. The power demand component in terms of load type has not been modeled by other researchers. Therefore, the current paper mathematically represents industrial, domestic, and commercial consumptions in terms of constant power, current, and impedance components of loads.
