Improved image denoising method based on wavelet transformation

The 21st century is an era of information, where information takes various forms. According to statistics, 70% of the information people receive comes from images. Therefore, people expect images to have good visual effects and high accuracy. This requires images to undergo denoising before being presented to people. There are many methods for image denoising, and wavelet denoising is a good method because it can obtain frequency domain information while determining time domain information. This article proposes a method that combines wavelet-based hybrid median filtering with wavelet domain denoising, using PSNR to detect the denoising effect. Finally, using MATLAB, the algorithm is verified, and the results indicate that this method can achieve satisfactory denoising effect.
