Design of a Novel Chaotic System Based on Hyperbolic Cosine Magnetic Memory Resistor

As a nonlinear component in chaotic systems, the magnetic memory resistor, or memristor, has the capability to enhance the randomness and complexity of chaotic systems. This paper couples a magnetic memory resistor model based on hyperbolic cosine function to a novel dissipative chaotic system with multiple stabilities. A new chaotic system is thereby constructed, and its dynamical characteristics are analyzed through numerical simulations including phase portraits, Lyapunov exponent spectra, bifurcation diagrams, Poincaré section plots, etc. Moreover, a simulation circuit has been devised for the system, and it has been simulated in Multisim. The outcomes of the circuit simulation are in line with the numerical simulation results, confirming the chaotic nature of the system and showcasing its viability. This comprehensive methodology facilitates a profound comprehension of the dynamics of the suggested chaotic system.
