A Composite Sliding Mode of Interleaved Boost Converter of Fuel Cell Vehicle

A composite sliding mode control strategy is proposed to address the issues of poor disturbance resistance, slow response speed, and large steady-state error in traditional control strategies for DC/DC converters, based on improved topology. Based on the state equation of interleaved parallel Boost converter (IBC), a generalized proportional integral observer (GPIO) is designed to estimate load disturbances and input voltage changes respectively, in order to improve anti-interference ability and to establish a non-singular fast terminal sliding mode controller (NFTSMC) from the perspective of system energy by using Lyapunov criterion to prove its convergence, and hyperbolic tangent function instead of symbol function to achieve the purpose of weakening chattering. The results indicate that the proposed control strategy can enable the system to have good dynamic and steady-state response characteristics and strong anti-interference ability.
