Research on Electric Heat Load Regulation Strategy Based on State Space Equation

This paper focuses on an in-depth study of winter heating problems, with special attention to the potential of electric heating equipment in reducing air pollution. First, by establishing a mathematical model of the temperature change process, this paper adopts the state space equation for description and transforms it into differential iterative equations to simplify the calculation process. Second, for the power adjustment strategy of electric heating loads, this paper develops a control method based on the temperature range and calculates the change of heating power, which results in a heating power period of 55 minutes and a duty cycle of 0.23636 at a steady state. Next, for the co-regulation capability of multiple electric heating households, this paper investigates the effect of different outdoor temperatures on the adjustable capability of electric heating equipment. The results show that the decrease in outdoor temperature leads to a rise of electric power consumption and an increase of switching frequency. Finally, the paper analyzes the potential of electric heating loads to participate in grid regulation in provincial areas and looks at the characteristics and potential of air conditioning loads to participate in grid regulation.
