Advanced Nonlinear Backstepping Controller for Magnetic Linked DC-DC Converter

An advanced nonlinear backstepping controller is proposed in this paper for magnetic-linked dc-dc converter to accomplish robust voltage regulation with less settling time and zero steady stare error without any chattering effect. The efficacy of the suggested controller is assessed in a variety of operational scenarios, including changes in load, input voltage, and step changes in the reference signal for the controller. The proposed controller provides a control equation with only one gain parameter facilitating easy tuning capability. In order to compare, the performance of the suggested controller is investigated with the most common proportional-integral controller and several nonlinear sliding mode controllers, like no integral sliding mode controller and double integral sliding mode controller. All the outcomes of different case studies validated the superior performance of the proposed controller.
