Energy measurement in buildings with local generation of energy

The complexity of residential electrical systems in terms of energy generation and use is every day increasing. In this context, the measurement of energy production and consumption acquires an important role. The objective of this work is to implement an energy measurement system appropriate for domestic applications in accordance with the Italian Technical Standard CEI 0-21. This system must also allow for complete integration with the other devices of the existing commercial home automation system allowing for the creation of energy saving scenarios.
