Microcontroller Based Water Treatment Scheme for Fish Farming

This paper presents an extensive review of the application and benefits of micro controller-driven water treatment systems in the field of aquaculture. The focus is on key parameters that are critical to successful fish farming, such as water turbidity, pH balance, and temperature. These parameters not only affect the health and growth of the fish but also the overall productivity of the farm. By leveraging the capabilities of the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) network, the proposed system integrates sensors that continuously monitor these parameters and a GSM module that facilitates real-time data transmission to an online platform. This innovative approach allows farmers to access the data remotely, ensuring constant supervision of water conditions and enabling prompt intervention when the parameters deviate from the ideal. The system further aids in enhancing precision, reliability, and overall fish health and growth by striving to maintain optimal conditions at all times. Additionally, this review highlights the potential of such technology to transform traditional farming practices, making them more efficient and environmentally sustainable.
