Wave Propagation Models for 5G Base Station Applications to Reduce Mutual Coupling in DualPolarized MIMO Antennas

In this research, we look at how the location of base station antennas is affected by various wave propagation models and network architectures. With dual polarization antennas covering the sub 6 GHz range, Multiple input Multiple output (MIMO) combinations are being explored for practical deployment. Propagation models throughout the investigated terrain are examined in relation to modulation techniques, data rates, and throughput. A huge MIMO antenna array of 88 elements is used to achieve the necessary 5G data rate. The probabilistic evaluation of a dual band microstrip patch antenna is also provided, which is capable of transmitting and receiving at both 4G and 5G frequencies. The gain of the proposed dual-band patch antenna is expected to increase thanks to the use of randomization based on meta materials. The effectiveness of the proposed MIMO antenna is evaluated in terms of its impedance bandwidth, maximum gain, a state of isolation mutual coupling, among other metrics.
