A Modern Approach to Dimensional Inspection by Implementing Annotated 3D Cad Model in a Digital Manufacturing Environment

In this paperwork, the implementation in the Digital Manufacturing environment of the annotated 3-Dimensional Computer-Aided Design (3D CAD) model, was studied. The aim of this study was required by the need of a common language to express and transmit the functional requirements of the products and allow a reliable and unambiguous dimensional check with a continuous result feedback based on annotated 3D CAD models.
