Application of IPMI Technology in PDM Server Cluster

This paper discusses the application of IPMI technology in a PDM (Product Data Management) server cluster. It introduces the architecture of IPMI technology, analyses the role of IPMI technology in the field of server management, and plans the IPMI network connection for the PDM server cluster in the research institute. Through this network connection, any running server in the PDM server cluster can control other servers in the IPMI network through two methods, WEB and IPMITOOL, Additionally, the WEB method allows viewing the status of any server in the cluster and implementing KVM over IP (remote server control via IP).
