Orbit Determination of Space Target Based on Sea Based Short Arc Angle Measurement Information

At present, the pure angle measurement data of sea based short arc segment is only limited to the angle mutual guidance of single ship, and the utilization rate of information is not high. Based on the simulation data, this paper studies and compares the performance differences of the commonly used methods for orbit determination using only angle data, including the classical Gauss method, the classical Laplace method and the improved Laplace method, and analyzes the influence of angle error and target height on the orbit determination algorithm, so as to provide reference for sea based angle only data orbit determination. The results show that the improved Laplace method has better performance in initial orbit determination and orbit improvement, and is superior to other algorithms. For satellites with altitudes of 300km, 800km and 2000km, the errors of the initial orbit semi major axis and the improved orbit semi major axis are all within 30km, which can provide a reference for the sea based platform to detect and determine the orbit of space targets.
