A Case study on OMC Power's Rooftop solar plant

The abundance of Non-conventional energy sources and the day-by-day depletion of conventional sources, with their negative effect on the environment, caused a lot of companies to think in favour of renewable energy. OMC Power (Omnigrid Micropower Co. Pvt. Ltd.), a company with foresight on developing rural India and bringing the people en route to development, took the reins and started the solar power generation and distribution plants in 2011. More than a decade has passed, and to further progress the cause, OMC Power stepped up and started the rooftop solar plant for the food processing and MSME (Micro, Small, & Medium Enterprise) businesses in the remote regions. This paper is a case study on rooftop solar plants for food processing businesses.
