Quantum Network Coding Based on Quantum Steering

Quantum steering is a physical resource that has important application value in quantum information. Quantum network coding provides an alternative solution for quantum-state distribution, especially when the bottleneck problems must be considered and high communication speed is required. In this paper, we introduce quantum steering into quantum network coding, and propose a feasible quantum network coding scheme to transmit any of the four quantum states in butterfly networks. By only using the steerable property, we make an attempt to relax the restriction on entangled quantum pairs to quantum steering.
