Real-Time Hospital Bed Information System During Pandemic Situation

Covid-19 affected the whole world very badly, the developing countries like India faced a scarcity of real-time information of beds available for Covid 19 patents, especially during the second wave. It led to a panic situation over the country. The decision-makers were unable to make the right decision at right time due to a lack of proper information. This research paper covers the study of various systems which provides information regarding the availability of Beds of different categories in Hospitals during pandemic situations. After studying various systems, the researcher has designed and developed a web-based system that provides real-time information on the availability of beds of various categories like ICU beds, Beds with Oxygen facilities, Beds without Oxygen, and Beds with Ventilators.
