Prediction and Classification of Contamination of Pollutants in Air Using Machine Learning Algorithms

Revolutions in every industry from history to present situation have made humans as the super natural species on the globe. In fulfilling to obtain a new life, humans have continuously altered the nature and one such alteration is contaminating the air. This has made a threat to our present and future life along with the present benefits we are enjoying with the new technologically delivered products. Automobile industries, contribution to public with numerous modules of vehicles is not only giving luxury but parting a high rate of pollution per square meter with intolerable contamination of pollutants into the air causing all living beings to high-risk diseases. Pollution is caused in various forms like burning of fossil fuels, plastic etc. The continuous innovations from technology needs also to be monitored to cut done the major damages it is going to impart on the living beings. Air pollution should be considered a serious issue as it has an adverse effect on our overall health. This work mainly focused on predicting and classifying the air quality using various machine learning algorithms and observed that linear SVM has provided the highest accuracy of 98.7%.
