Design and Implementation of Energy Carbon Management System for High Voltage Substation

An energy and carbon management system is designed and developed based on IoT architecture to meet the energy and carbon management needs of high voltage substation. Through the energy carbon data collection terminal and edge computing gateway, multi-dimensional operational parameters are collected from high-voltage substation energy consumption equipment, and the data are sent to the energy carbon management system through local wired/wireless communication network. The energy and carbon management application software realizes real-time online monitoring, early warning and system energy efficiency evaluation of the energy used in high-voltage substations. The engineering practice proves that the system can effectively realize online monitoring and evaluation of the energy consumption carbon operation indexes of high-voltage substation, timely find out the problems in operation, and provide a decision-making basis for energy saving and consumption reduction in power operation and inspection departments.
