Achieving Educational Excellence: LMS Development At A Robotics Education Institution Using The Rational Unified Process (RUP) Method

Robotics School XYZ is an institution engaged in Robotics Education that provides extracurricular robotics learning in several schools in the Bandung area. This institution was founded on the basis of seeing the rapid development of the world of robotics in various countries that are increasingly advanced. Learning Management System (LMS) is needed as a medium for processing student attendance data, student report cards, and e-learning administration. The purpose of this research is to find out how the planning, implementation and evaluation of the implementation of the Learning Management System (LMS) as well as in improving a more effective and efficient learning process at XYZ Robotics School. The method used for software development is the Rational Unified Process (RUP) with the UML (Unified Modelling Language) model. Based on the research results that the website-based Learning Management System (LMS) at XYZ Robotics School can improve students’ learning experience by providing easy access to course materials and supporting independent learning, can monitor data in real-time, can help you make better decisions about teaching and learning and can automate administrative processes.
