Evaluation of Energy Processes in Smart Monitoring Systems of Local Electricity Systems

Local electricity systems offer new features and opportunities for electricity suppliers and consumers. Transactive energy is a new concept that uses information exchange as a mechanism to better manage the local electricity system energy flow. Smart monitoring systems for transactive systems require monitoring of basic parameters such as voltage, frequency, and power. Energy characteristics make it possible to assess the impact of uneven consumption and generation of electricity, the quality of electricity, and the level of reactive power and network losses. The evaluation of energy processes is studied in this article. An algorithm for evaluating energy processes has been developed. Its operation in a system consisting of uninterruptible power sources (diesel generators) has been studied. Fuel consumption, which depends on the load, is the main feature of such systems. The ratios of load energy and fuel consumption were obtained, and the intervals that are optimal for the system under consideration with the corresponding load profile were selected by evaluating the energy processes.
