Increasing the Efficiency of Solar Power Plants Based on the Use of Voltage Booster Transformers

The paper provides an assessment of the state of solar energy and its prospects based on the example of Ukraine. The relevance of the work is determined, due to the great potential of Ukraine in the field of alternative energy, especially solar, on the one hand, and their insufficient efficiency, on the other, Ukraine has all the prerequisites for the further successful development of the solar energy market and reaching the highest indicators in Europe: the highest DNL (direct normal light), high "green" tariff, etc. But, unfortunately, this development is restrained by the lack of effective systems for their management, especially in the conditions of compatible operation with the power system. This work is devoted to the consideration of these issues.
