Developing Non-Technical Skills of Electrical Engineers in Paradigm of New Industrial Relations

Development of communication skills and other non-technical skills of electrical engineers, in whose professional activity communication processes and social interactions occupy an important place, is one of actual pedagogical problems in engineering education. Subjective (individual) factors for the development of electrical engineers’ non-technical skills are the level of development their communication skills and social skills. Objective factors include conflict professional communications that may be resolved by communication skills. A model of the gradual development of electrical engineers’ non-technical skills has been designed. According to the principle of a systemic approach (the development of a general methodology for study of fact or phenomenon), a selection of methods was carried out, with the help of which electrical engineer’s non-technical skills were considered simultaneously as a complete object of research and as a set of interconnected and interdependent elements (indicators). A table of two group methods for nontechnical skills diagnosis has been designed.
