Features of the Car Wheel Rims Manufacturing Technology for Electric Cars

It is shown that the regeneration of electric current during the movement of the vehicle is used in electric cars and hybrids when reducing the speed with the help of regenerative braking. This increases the range of such cars. However, the possibilities of electricity production in such cases are not exhaustive. In the active operation process the rim-disk system heats up and, accordingly, this heat can be converted into an additional power source. But during such discs production the technological regimes of the production process should be strictly adhered to in order to obtain quality products. By means of the profiling operation theoretical analysis the most influential structural and technological factors of the process have been established, which makes it possible to design the most optimal manufacturing operations and to minimize defects at the preparatory stages. Analyzed materials from which the rims of the vehicles wheels are currently made, from the most efficient thermoelectric element formation point of view.
