Performance Evaluation of Energy Consumption for Optimal Relay Node Placement in WBANs Using Ant Colony Optimization with Game Theory

This research paper presented an approach for optimal relay node placement in Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) along Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) with Game Theory. To achieve optimal energy utilization, network coverage and battery lifetime, the study puts two relay nodes strategically among sensor nodes with the goal of improving network performance. The suggested technique provides flexibility for changing surroundings by addressing the NP-completeness of relay node placement. The algorithm guarantees optimal relay node positioning by adding Game Theory after ACO con- vergence. Suggested work is a viable alternative for efficient WBANs design, with potential applications in transformational healthcare technology, as demonstrated by the simulation findings.
