Design of Interdigital Capacitance electrode for Multi-interface Measurement of Crude Oil Tank

In this paper, interdigital capacitance electrodes for multiphase interface measurement in crude oil storage tanks are presented. The electrodes are fabricated using a flexible printed circuit (FPC) board. They can be housed within an insulated tube, enhancing sensor sealing and making it particularly suitable for industrial applications. The electrodes model is created using COMSOL software, and simulations are conducted. Based on the simulation results, the probes demonstrates the potential for using in multiphase interface measurements.
