Comprehensive Configuration Method for Static and Dynamic Reactive Power Compensation of Multi-Voltage Level Urban Power Grid

This paper studies the basic principles of reactive power configuration of multi-voltage level urban power grid, gives a calculation method for reactive power balance of multi-voltage level urban power grid, and analyzes the status quo of reactive power balance of urban power grid in China. Based on the functional positioning of static and dynamic reactive power in multi-voltage level urban power grid, a comprehensive configuration method of multi-voltage level static and dynamic reactive power compensation are proposed. Took the large city Shanghai power grid as an example, a coordinated configuration scheme for static reactive power compensation is researched and proposed, and the supporting role of the dynamic reactive power compensation in urban power grid is analyzed. The research results can provide technical support for the reactive power configuration of the urban power grid planning.
