Research on A New Type of Low Current Grounding System Based on Arc Suppression Coil

China’s power distribution network covers a wide range, the structure is complex and changeable, and random faults often occur. The neutral ground mode plays a decisive role in fault discovery and process as well as the operation of distribution network. This paper discusses a new type of low current grounding system that uses arc suppression coil parallel resistance grounding, which can satisfy the problems of eliminating arc and fast line selection and tripping at the same time and verifies the characteristics of this grounding system through simulation.
