Research on Spatio-Temporal Blockchain Query Optimization for Electronic Document Tamper Resistance

The trustworthy characteristics of blockchain technology make it a popular technology in the field of trusted data management. In order to further ensure the tamper resistance of electronic files, this paper integrates spatiotemporal attributes into the digital signature of electronic documents, so that the digital signature has the characteristics of spatiotemporal data. At the same time, due to the increased query requirements based on spatiotemporal attributes during signature verification, the current blockchain structure cannot fully cope with it. In order to optimize its verification efficiency, this paper proposes the Merkle RT-trees spatiotemporal block index structure based on the spatially verifiable index structure Merkle R-tree. This structure reduces the time od query consumption compared to the spatial blockchain embedded in the MR-tree. When the transaction volume in a single block is 8192, the query time is reduced by 10.3ms. When querying on 100 blocks, the time decreases by 83.2ms.
