Model of Conflict at Intersection Based on Evolutionary Game

For the setting of signal phase at urban intersection, the left-turning and straight-moving usually put in the same phase, which is challenging for vehicles. In this paper, we use an evolutionary game theory to build the conflict model of the left-turning vehicle and straight-moving vehicle. Considering the interaction in the strategy, the excitation coefficient is introduced to improve the traditional replication dynamic equation in the evolutionary game theory. Results show that the improving model is more reflective of the real conflict situation, which can analyze the conflict more effectively.
