Development of an Optical Dental Recognition Subsystem in an Antropomorphic Simulator

Our group is developing a simulator which is a dental anthropomorphic robot that would allow an objective assessment of the student’s manual skills using the case system. In addition to practical exercises, the simulator allows you to study the theoretical aspects of the disciplines, is able to conduct surveys on the topics of practical classes and lectures, and evaluate test tasks due to the interactive component. The base of the simulator is the optical recognition system which checks the correctness of student’s results.
