Research on Control Strategy of Assist Motor for Electronic Hydraulic Braking System

In comparison to conventional braking systems, the Electro-hydraulic Brake (EHB) system is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). This paper focuses on the challenges of slow motor speed and low control precision in the EHB system during emergency braking. To address these issues, a control strategy for the assist motor has been designed. Firstly, the PMSM control model was built, and then the feedforward compensation control algorithm and the leading angle weak magnetic control algorithm were designed to solve the problems proposed. Finally, the efficacy of the designed assist motor control strategy was validated through simulations.
