Model predictive torque control of permanent magnet synchronous motor based on optimized sliding mode observer

For permanent magnet synchronous motors, the traditional model predictive torque control algorithm meets the problem of relying on position sensor. Therefore, a model predictive torque control method is proposed based on optimized sliding mode observer. Firstly, the back electromotive force sliding mode observer is combined with the model predictive torque control. Secondly, the observed speed is employed to replace the real-time speed in the prediction model. The speed and accuracy of prediction are improved by realizing sensorless control. Finally, the proposed method is compared with position-sensor-based model predictive turn control method through Matlab/Simulink software and experiment platform, in order to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.
