The Algorithm of the Secondary Current Recovery of Measuring Transformers in Transient Processes

The object of the paper is issue of a secondary current distorting of measuring transformer due to a saturation of magnetic core in case of short circuit faults. In the article a method of current transformer modeling is described; the results of electromagnetic transient process calculation, get by using developed computer model, are analyzed; a recovering algorithm of a secondary current for correct operation of relay protection is proposed as well as the results, proven an efficiency of the algorithm, is shown.
